So, you constantly doubt yourself huh?
Welcome to club.
Self-doubt is one wicked bitch.
Becoming a victim of self-doubt is such an easy thing to do because the world is setup in a way that doesn’t build you up, but rather tears you down at every step in your lives.
Unfortunately, will all become victims of self-doubt at some point in our lives, most likely quite often.
That self-doubt can become so bad that it puts your life into a complete downspin.
It can become so intense that you lose your focus, and the confidence that you probably once had in yourself.
Even though the feeling of self-doubt is inevitable, I’m here to tell you that you are never going to get rid of self-doubt.
It is impossible.
I know, I know… that’s so daunting and discouraging.
I told you I was always going to keep it real with you, haha.
But don’t worry, you still can-do things that make that little voice in your head saying ‘you can’t do it’ quieter.
What can you do to push through?
Now remember, self-doubt is inevitable BUT it is also temporary, phewww.
There are soooo many ways to remove self-doubt and boost confidence.
Now, I’m going to explain to you guys some ways that have helped me and some of my friends but please keep in mind that some may not work for you, and that is totally okay!
You have to experiment and find the best ways that work for you!
Let's get to it!
I know your probably like, c’monnn wheres the list!! Well here it is.
But first let me just say..
No I’m totally kidding, haha.
Here are a few of the ways I deal with self-doubt!
I am a huge believer in the power of the tongue! We can change so much just by filtering what comes out of our mouths.
Go to a mirror (seriously go) and say the following:
“I am the most beautiful, boss ass bitch in the world, and I AM going to succeed at whatever I want to do” …
Now ask yourself how do you feel?
Now say it again. And again. And again. And keep saying it until you FEEL those words in your heart and in your mind.
Understand that you are worthy of everything you are saying.
Just think about the mindset that puts you in. I promise, after a few days of talking yourself up and repeating your goals, you are going to feel so motivated and so much better about yourself that you want even to remember the self-doubt.
It is so important to speak positive and beautiful things into your life because that’s exactly when positive and beautiful things will begin to happen!
Now, if you are not comfortable with talking out loud to yourself or if you are better at expressing yourself on paper, then journaling is for you.
I used to journal EVERYTHING and every time I wrote my feelings down, I instantly felt better and more optimistic.
It is really beneficial to write down all your accomplishments, no matter how big or small.
It is so easy to feel like we are not doing enough, or we have done nothing, but this gives you a visual of how well you are actually doing.
There is something very therapeutic in journaling.
3. Take a walk
Walking really does clear your mind and it gives you a moment to stop focusing on what you feel you can’t do but to focus on what you CAN do.
Make it point to designate your walking time as a time to think about positive things. Cause if your anything like me you’re probably thinking about negative stuff most of the day, which is exhausting.
So, go take a walk and talk yourself up for the entirety of that walk. Make sure to only say positive things about yourself and put focus on your capabilities.
4. Change who you allow around you
Now this is a tough one.
It can be extremely emotional and confusing to remove people from your life but oh man is it necessary.
I’m telling you, take a look at the people in your life because I promise you, some of them are the reason you are doubting yourself.
I use to allow the absolute worse people around me and let me tell you… that was when I was also at my lowest mentally! But I did the hard thing and I cut them off and now I have the most amazing and uplifting people in my life that actually deserve me.
Having the right people around you to remind you how capable and amazing you are is such a life changer.
BUT always remember that YOU have to be YOUR biggest fan. You can’t rely on other 100% to build you up. It is just a nice thing to have.
5. Go for a drive
I know this one is a little weird one, but this is something that really helps me.
If that doubt is constantly creeping up on your and you notice that you just can’t get out of your own head… go for a nice drive! I love to play music and just drive.
This can get tricky though cause sometimes you can get even more in your head, but the trick is to force yourself to focus on the music.
Once you notice your mind keeps back to whatever your thinking or doubting, make it a point to pull focus back to the music. Really listen to the music, feel the wind and enjoy it.
It is like meditating in a way!

There you have it lovelies, 5 ways that are great at removing self-doubt and building up confidence.
Always remember that constant self-doubt can cause a lack of confidence.
But also, always keep in mind that you are not ALONE. Every single human being experience self-doubt. No one is perfect. I have just as much self-doubt as you do. I am no better than you as you are no better than me. I don’t care if you meet one of the most successful and confident people in the world… guess what they doubt themselves too!
The difference is they didn’t let that self-doubt hinder their potential. They let it motivate them.
They heard it, they felt it, and they replaced it with something better, more positive.
Remind yourself every single day about all the positives you see in yourself.
Build your mind up.
Repeat your goals every day.
Believe in all the things you want for your life.
Sell yourself to yourself.
